We have heard the call of some special children.  They live in a very poor rural part of Tanzania.  They want to learn.  The children, as well as their parents and teachers, believe they have lots of potential to contribute to the world, and that a good education is the foundation for being able to create opportunities and to take advantage of those that come their way. With your help they will be able to move beyond the poverty that currently limits their future.

Our goal is to enhance their learning environment so they can achieve their goals. They deserve the types of opportunities that we take for granted.  Although primary school in Tanzania is both free and required, the resources are scant.  Life is very hard there.  But these kids have dreams for a better future. 

We hope that after visiting our site and learning more about Tanzania, the Meali Primary School, and Friends of Meali International, you will be inspired to join us in helping these young Tanzanians realize their dreams.
